South Side Pittsburgh Pennsylvania is a residential and a industrial neighborhood with several warehouses located there. There is an excellent public transportation system, buses and the "T". There are several lovely residential areas though, some made up of older people who have lived there for generations and a larger mix of young families and singles. The older neighborhoods consist of row houses while along the river there are many new upscale townhouse developments. East Carson Street in South Shore Pittsburgh Pennsylvania is known as one of the longest business districts in Pittsburgh. It is a host of unique shops, galleries and restaurants. There is a thriving arts and cultural community in the area also. There are several unique restaurants in n the South Side Pittsburgh area also, you can sample almost every kind of food. There is the Grand Concourse, which is in the P&LE trains station and has been voted "Best Sunday Brunch" for several years. Several movie theatres are located in the neighborhood, which show the usual first run films.
